Eutropoius of Saintes, Bishop, Martyr

Today we commemorate Eutropoius of Saintes. He was consecrated as a bishop and sent to France by St. Clement. He converted the governor's daughter to Christianity and the governor was so angry that he had both his daughter and Eutropoius killed. Eutropoius was killed by having his head split open with an ax.
