Matthew Chapter 3

Here's my translation of Matthew 3, please critique.

Now in those days John the Baptizer comes preaching in the wilderness of Judea 2 and saying, "Repent! for the reign of heaven stands near!" 3 For this is the one who was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying: "The voice of one crying in the wilderness, 'Prepare the way of the Lord; make straight His paths.'" 4 And John himself was wearing his clothing made from camel's hair and a leather belt around his waist, and his food was locusts and wild honey. 5 Then Jerusalem and all Judea and all the neighboring region of the Jordan was going out to him, 6 and they were being baptized in the Jordan by him as they were confessing their sins. 7 But after seeing many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for his baptism, he said to them, "Offspring of vipers, Who directed y o u to flee from the coming wrath? 8 Therefore, bear fruit worthy of repentance, 9 and do not think that y o u will go on saying among yourselves, 'We have Abraham as father,' for I say to y o u that God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham. 10 And even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees; therefore, every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 11 I myself am baptizing y o u with water for repentance, but the One who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry; He Himself will baptize y o u with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will clean out His threshing floor, and will gather His wheat into the barn, but the chaff He will burn up with inextinguishable fire."

13 Then Jesus comes from Galilee to the Jordan, to John, in order to be baptized by him. 14 And John was trying to prevent Him, saying, "I myself have need to be baptized by You, and You Yourself are coming to me?" 15 But Jesus answering, said to him, "Allow it at this time, for in this way it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allows Him; 16 and after being baptized, Jesus went up immediately from the water; and look, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming upon Him; 17 and look, a voice from hte heavens, saying, "This One is My beloved Son, in whom I am have set my good pleasure."
